Fab nursery. Both my boys went here. Great staff, great atmosphere.
My twin girls have been going to the Ramsgate nursery for 5 months and they love it. They enjoy playing out in the large fully fitted garden they have and enjoy baby yoga sessions, painting, dressing up, arts & crafts – they do so much! All the girls who work there are lovely, very friendly and always happy to answer my questions. I would highly recommend!
Hello. My name is Freddie. I have worked for Townsend Montessori Nurseries for many years and started by doing my placement at Port Regis while I was studying at college. I became a Nursery Nurse after completing my course and have been to a few of our locations, progressing to Deputy Manager and learning as I did. I gained a wide range of experiences from working at different locations and with different families. I am trained in BSL Level 2 and have a lot of personal experience with SEN children. I decided to work in childcare as I enjoy the rewards of watching the children develop and learning about their unique personalities. I like working for Townsend Montessori Nurseries as I enjoy the natural look of all our rooms and the Montessori method.
I have worked for Townsend Montesssori for almost 10 years now and during that time I have worked here at The Grange in Ramsgate, where I progressed from Nursery Nurse to Deputy Supervisor to Room Supervisor, and at Port Regis in Broadstairs, where I joined the Ladybirds Room as Room Supervisor. I am very excited to be back at The Grange as Deputy Manager.
I enjoy working with children in the nursery setting as I enjoy watching them grow and progress through the years to become independent and confident.
Polly is now on maternity leave.
I have worked for Townsend Montessori Nurseries a little over four years. I began working at The Avenues Montessori after completing my degree in early childhood studies. I progressed from Nursery Nurse to Senior Nursery Nurse, and then to Deputy Supervisor, Supervisor and now Deputy Manager/Montessori Directress. Each of these roles has challenged me differently but all have been rewarding.
I have always been passionate about working in the early years sector and find it incredibly humbling and rewarding to be a part of the children’s early development. I thoroughly enjoy working for Townsend Montessori as I feel valued and continually supported in my own personal development. I have great appreciation for the Montessori method and how the ethos is embedded within the nurseries.
