Situated in the heart of Maidstone, our nursery is the perfect environment for your child to learn and develop. With three individual outdoor spaces tailored to your child’s age group these include a climbing frame, sand and water play, a planting areas, and a forest class, your child will learn and grow whilst having fun.

Within the nursery itself, your child will learn in five large, beautiful, and bright classrooms, all on the ground floor and prepared to stimulate their minds, helping them develop key skills and creativity.

Our Maidstone nursery opened in 2014, earning a ‘Good’ rating in all areas by Ofsted in May 2016 and January 2019. The nursery staff are continuing to work hard, striving to achieve an ‘Outstanding’ in all areas.

I just consider myself lucky to have found such an excellent nursery for my children. The Maidstone staff that I have come into contact with are all superb and my two-year-old twins are always happy at both ends of the day. Their development took off when I enrolled them at 16 months and I don't ever worry that they're not being nurtured and cared for. Very grateful to everyone.

Ruth Jones

My daughter goes to the Maidstone nursery and absolutely loves it. All the staff are lovely, and she has come on leaps and bounds since starting. Couldn't fault it at all!

Hannah Carden

My son was at the Faversham nursery when he was a baby. We then relocated to the Maidstone nursery, and he is now in his last year before primary school. Both nurseries are amazing; he has learned so much and is really independent now and ready for school. Thank you all so much! He loves it!

The Maidstone management team

Nursery Manager
Tanya Alexander

I have been working with Townsend Montessori Nurseries since May 2014. I supported the opening of the Maidstone branch as Deputy Manager and worked my way up to the position of Area Manager, supporting the Maidstone, Faversham, Whitstable and Forest Hill nurseries. At 16, I completed a placement at a special educational needs school in Maidstone, and childcare became my passion straight away. I've completed several courses and gained a lot of experience over the last 14 years. Becoming a mum to my little boy and now my little girl has given me new understanding of what parents are looking for in a nursery. After having my little girl, I decided to return as Manager at Maidstone. Townsend Montessori has enabled me to grow within my role and shares my passion in ensuring childcare is to a high standard in order to support children to develop and grow confidently to the best of their ability.

Assistant Manager
Sasha Anderson

I have been working at the Maidstone nursery since March 2015. I started as a nursery nurse in the Pre-school Room and gradually worked my way up to Room Supervisor/Third in Charge, Deputy Manager and now Assistant Manager. The company has been really supportive and given me so many opportunities to develop my skills. I have really enjoyed helping the children to develop and grow and to be strong and independent. I also enjoy supporting all the staff so that they can have the same opportunities that I have been given.
