Our nursery in Faversham opened in 2011 and is conveniently situated in the Eurocentre Business Park on Jubilee Way (off Whitstable Road) near Faversham town centre.
It was rated “Good” in all areas by Ofsted, with Outstanding elements, in June 2015. The nursery and staff team are now working towards achieving Outstanding in all areas.
The nursery is open all year round Monday to Friday and takes children from 3 months up to 5 years. We offer a variety of sessions to meet your requirements, and funded places are available for 2–5 year olds subject to certain criteria.
The nursery has a Babies Room, Toddlers Room, Twos Room and a Pre-school Room. We have a large garden area with a climbing frame, sand and water play, a planting area and separate baby garden. There are four large, beautiful and bright classrooms all on the ground floor. The nursery is fully air-conditioned to ensure that the children are cared for at the perfect temperature.
The children are always busy taking part in fun and exciting activities. The nursery also offers weekly yoga, dance, football and Musical Bumps and singing sessions carried out by professionals.
Shannon, our Montessori teacher, carries out fun activities with the children in our Montessori area, which forms part of the Pre-school Room. Shannon is not counted in ratio, so is therefore able to dedicate more one-to-one time with the children to support them with their learning.

My daughter loves going to nursery. Even at the weekend when we ask what she wants to do she says go to nursery! I am so lucky to have found somewhere she loves and also somewhere I know she is safe and cared for. All the staff are amazing and do such an amazing job at teaching and caring for all the children.
Lovely nursery and great staff members!
As a parent who works abroad, I was really nervous about putting my daughter into nursery, but the Faversham team have been beyond outstanding and I feel like my daughter is in the safest hands with them. I am so grateful.
We found the staff, the structure, the professionalism and flexibility to be outstanding.
I have worked for the company for nearly 3 years. I started off as deputy room leader in Lambs, worked my way up to room leader and third in charge, then progressed on to deputy manager and now assistant manager.
The reason I got into childcare was because as a teenager I taught dancing to the younger children at my dance school and from that I learnt that I had a real passion for helping and seeing children grow and develop. I chose to work for TM nurseries because I believe that they have a strong ethos and they care about their staff's development which makes the team a strong unit and gives the children fantastic care and opportunities to learn.
I am both the Deputy manger of the Faversham nursery and the joint room supervisor of our preschool classroom. I have worked for the company for 6 years, where I started working as the baby room supervisor. I worked my way up to third in charge and eventually became the deputy manager. I have been working in childcare since I left college 8 years ago, I have always wanted to work with children as I enjoy watching them develop and grow. I enjoy working for Townsend Montessori as I enjoy providing a wide range of fun activities for the children to support their needs and development.
Hi, I'm Kirsty and I have worked in childcare for seven years, five of those being at Faversham Montessori. I started as a nursery nurse and I've worked my way up to assistant manager. I have experience working with all ages and have been supervisor of two's and preschool.
I have always wanted to work in childcare and have a passion for helping children learn and develop. I enjoy working for Townsend Montessori because we have such a supportive and friendly team and we provide a range of fun activities for all the children.
