The nursery is situated within 17 acres of private woodland. We have our own farm, forest class, door to the beach, and a custom-designed playground.

Our nursery in Broadstairs opened in 2005 and is located near the North Foreland Golf Course. The nursery is adjacent to an old people’s home; the children love visiting the elderly residents, singing songs and playing games together.
We are very proud to announce that our Broadstairs nursery received overall Good but graded Outstanding for personal development, behaviour and welfare at their recent inspection.
Staff are inspirational role models, children are extremely polite and their behaviour is impeccable. Children have outstanding opportunities to challenge their physical abilities.Ofsted
Our forest class in Broadstairs is a new addition to the nursery. Children love learning and exploring outdoors, and our forest class creates a fun and exciting environment for them to learn about nature and start to use basic tools in a safe and controlled way.

My son goes to Port Regis and absolutely loves it. The staff are wonderful and my son has always been happy to attend each day. I will happily send my younger child when he is old enough. The grounds are beautiful, too; plenty of space for walks and my son also loves the animals they have on-site.
Both of my children attend Port Regis and they love it. My youngest loves seeing the animals on his way in. My eldest is always telling me about the fun things she has been up to. Thanks to all the great staff!
My daughter had her first full session today at Port Regis. Although she doesn't like us leaving her, the staff are great with her and with settling her. They are all so friendly! They have given us plenty of information and I am sure she will have plenty of fun learning and growing in this lovely nursery.
I have two grown-up daughters and now two young granddaughters. As my children grew older, I missed the young age, so I felt working in a nursery would enable me to help other children grow, develop and support families. This is the part of the job I love.
I have been with Townsend Montessori for 11 years since starting as an unqualified member. I have worked with all age ranges and, in 2019, gained my Level 5 in Management.
I have been working for the company for nine years and have worked in three of its nurseries. I started as a Nursery Assistant and then gained my Level 3 NVQ to become a Nursery Nurse. I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to train as a Montessori Directress and then progress to Deputy Manager.
I decided to go into childcare when my daughter went from nursery to school. I enjoyed watching her grow and develop so much during her pre-school years that I wanted to be part of this for my career.
I enjoy working for Townsend Montessori Nurseries and getting to know all the children and their families. It's lovely to watch the children grow, develop and transition to school, confident in new skills and independence.
